This is dire. Even if you're in favor of vaccine "passports", surely it must be recognized that antigen tests are the safest way to reduce spread - variants are easily infecting double jabbed people.
> People will no longer be allowed to show a negative test to enter restaurants, bars, theaters, museums and stadiums or travel on trains — only proof of vaccination will be accepted.
Kinda seems like people globally are aggresively sleepwalking into normalizing the removal of bodily autonomy and free travel, shrieking that it's in the name of science despite ignoring the actual science.
Probably true, but untenable logistically or politically. I'm personally against any kind of constant testing regime as well. The vaccine pass, even if demonstrably pointless for infection control, is basically throwing a bone to the hystericals that otherwise would be demanding some other kind of ceremony to allay their fear. I disagree with vaccine passports as well, and I think its time to bring back personal responsibility, which seems to work fine in the jurisdictions that have adopted it
You got to give credit to these technocrats for being tone deaf: they dont just take the most stupid measures, they typically do so way late.
