Fix a Pothole

The folks at the roads dept will not thank you for filling in a hole with random gravel; which will probably exacerbate the problem as well as requiring extra effort when someone properly equipped actually does arrive to do the job right. You might just ensure that the problem become permanent.

Its a great notion, "solve a problem you can touch to soothe your upset over online outrage," but there's something to be said for having all the ignorant quacking happen over trivial things with no impact, instead of our everyday environment.

A few days of "twitter mobs improving the city" would perhaps illustrate in an un-ignorable way the subconscious realization many of us already have: all that noise is just noise and no matter how entertaining it is will never be any more meaningful.
