Google’s Android 12 Update Has Been the Rockiest in Years

The forced lock screen clock change really annoyed me. Same with gpay in settings.

None of these broke anything, but they indicated the usual android experience of “20 teams of varying opinions (some kinda bad opinions) working near each other”.

Google's QA seems to have been particularly awful for their releases this past year.

The built-in SIP client is gone without warning in Android 12.

I found out the hard way after wondering why the phone wasn't ringing anymore.
