Supreme Court Blocks Biden’s Virus Mandate for Large Employers

Unfortunately, the CMS mandate was allowed to take effect (though litigation on that one continues). I guess we'll find out if the plaintiff's argument that this would devastate rural hospitals (that are already short-staffed and have trouble attracting employees) comes to fruition or not.

This may have been the first SCOTUS ruling that cited a tweet in defense of an argument.

Ron Klain's tweet crowing that the OSHA mandate was the “ultimate work-around for the Federal govt to require vaccinations,” was cited by Gorsuch.

Telegraphing intent as a method of short-lived mandate, nice politicking.

edit: I'm pretty sure same thing happened with one of Trump's staff with regard to some immigration thing. Don't know if it was cited but it was covered and maybe it was mentioned only by opposition lawyer. It is interesting to see it happening. Wouldn't these tweets be vetted? Method to madness?
