How does it provide a more economic, time/energy more efficient, simpler solution than a relational market/db/service, from the implementation point of view? (as, either way, this will require implementation, marketing and support towards users by some intermediary company, be it the venue or something equivalent to TicketMaster)

Concert venues and artists are already working hard towards making touring more sustainable (not only, but also energy-wise), the time/energy efficiency bottom line has to be remarkable.

My goal was to encourage those enthusiastic about NFTs to focus some of their energy on solving actual problems.

I certainly didn't evaluate whether the trade-offs between an NFT-based counterfeit-resistant ticketing solution would make it better than a centralized one, but it's at least conceivable that making use of a public-access transaction processing network that also maintains state about current ownership could make the overall costs lower than a solution built upon more traditional payment rails and state-management applications.
