Apple and other EV hopefuls chip away at auto industry pyramid

I'm not sure I want such a world where vehicles take on the current software mentality.

Specifically the current one where software is licensed and not owned. I want ownership of my car, not a license to use it.

This lack of ownership from the software world into other domains is not something I wish for and won't support with my wallet.

I hope there are competitors left who will not abandon the current ownership model in the future.
