I'm a guitar teacher and software engineer from Italy, FaChords Guitar is my labor of love. It provides interactive guitar learning software ( https://www.fachords.com/guitar-learning-software/ ), as well as lessons on practice and music theory to help maximize the training (here's mylast post all about how memory works https://www.fachords.com/effective-memory-practice/ )

Hope you'll take a look at it, thanks!

Very interesting project! I'm glad to see that you also support other instruments like Ukulele, etc. Can it listen to what you play (like Simply Piano) and know if you played it correctly?

This feature is under construction but will be available shortly. I think it would be appreciated a lot in tools like the fretboard notes game, in which users will use a real guitar instead of the mouse. Thanks for your comment!

I see music related tech posted on HN regularly. Is there any place where tech focused people can jam?

Or just a place to find people to play music with online?

Since the pandemic its hard to find people to play free form improvisation with.

Hi, there are some interesting projects if you google "jam online". I also believe that 5g will improve this kind of interaction, introducing new scenarios and collaboration ways.

Very nice and I appreciate you including lefties. If I could suggest anything it would be maybe consolidating the navigation a bit. I don't mind clicking around but there's a lot to digest.

Yep you're right. The fact is that the content on the website has grown a lot in the last years, there's really plenty of information. I try to help users digest the material with an autoresponder that starts when users subscribe; they receive periodic email with step-by-step chunks of information. Thank you for your feedback!
