Blockchain is federated, distributed, not decentralized.

I think people are forming a false dichotomy that if something is not 100% centralized it must therefore be 0% centralized. 0% centralized would require two independent parties agreeing to communicate without third party interconnection and without third party storage. Blockchain is a form of third party storage.
