Venmo, PayPal and Cash App to report payments of $600 or more to IRS this year

At that kind of level, the IRS is not manually checking every $600 payment had the correct tax paid...

They just want all transactions so they can run them through a big machine learning model to find tax evaders. More data=More accuracy.
