I can just imagine the thought process behind this:

Person 1: "Have you heard the conspiracy nuts saying COVID vaccines implant microchips in your body"

Person 2: "that's just nuts! You'd need a much bigger needle."

Person 1: "I'm way ahead of you. This is really going to mess with their minds."

It's a really interesting idea. I'm not sure COVID vaccine status goes far enough. I like the idea of owning my own medical history but also having it on hand at all times in case of emergency and accessible even if I'm unconscious and unidentified.

Stick it all in a chip and stick it in my arm... Once we can figure out how to protect the data from everyone but me and medical professionals. Maybe put it In the wrist and wear an anti-RFID bracelet?
