That's pretty interesting anecdote; the ending reminds me of the "count to ten" scene from _All the President's Men_:
More likely, Satoshi is someone we've never heard of who coded up Bitcoin and then passed away, which is why he hasn't been heard from since. Saying that he's actually a really famous guy, reminds one of the drunk looking under the streetlight for his keys because he can see better there. We've heard of Elon Musk. What % of programmers, even programmers who worked at PayPal back in the day and so thought about e-money a lot, have we heard of?
