Best way to edit Overleaf Latex documents offline

I am using Overleaf for a number of different projects, but I would like to be able to edit these projects offline as well. What would be the best way to do this, and which software would I need on my Mac?

The easiest way is through git. You'd get the git repository URL of the document, then clone it locally using git. After editing, you'd commit the changes and push them back to the repository.
