I think you're completely missing the point. Cheugier (or "cheugy", it's more commonly used as an adjective) is a zoomer word to refer to outdated millennial interests just as boomer is used by millennials. The fact that you don't understand is the entire point.

Great. In some odd way, this reminds me of some financial derivatives (like CDS), which seem to have done away with having any kind of well-defined purpose and simply exist as another speculation opportunity.
Likewise, we now have the first TLD which does not even pretend to stand for anything but simply exists so all the popular domain names can be sold again yet another time.
