Seems like a great idea until Google realizes a slow adoption and cant monetize it fast enough, the engineers supporting it move on and then Google drops it altogether. SQL has lots of problems and lots of fixes but also a huge adoption at this point. It doesnt really need to be propped up by any particular actor anymore.
