Universities cannot and shouldn’t try to teach tacit job knowledge IMO.

Medicine excepted of course but we all know how long that degree takes!

If industry wants this out of the gate then offer more paid internships and in those internships offer training, and offer graduates training.

If something is hard but looks like it should be easy to management, get one or two management trusted people in on it to agree that its hard, for example. This can be part of the communication.

you can’t learn everything from university and you shouldn’t expect it to. University is all about basic stuff, without a firm understanding of basics, you won’t get anywhere. Most of these tasks can and will and should be learned by working with other experienced professionals.

OK, so whats the problem ? I don't see a problem with 99% of that tasks.

Why would anyone want to take a degree in this!? It would be horribly dull.

None of these are taught in any CS program.
