Elon Musk criticised after China space complaint to UN

“Mr.Musk, Starlink and the US were heavily criticised on China's Twitter-like Weibo microblogging platform. One user described Starlink's satellites as "just a pile of space junk". The satellites are "American space warfare weapons" and "Musk is a new 'weapon' created by the US government and military", others said.”

LOL

Of course anti-satellite tests creating uncontrolled debris are totally acceptable.

I wonder what this new path of Chinese comments is leading up to? Is it about reducing personal influence. Building a good guy reputation in space endeavours. Heading off a global comms system that has potential to evade state control?

Either way, very rude.
