Another day, another negative-sentiment crypto post on HN. We get it.
I'm all for being creative but consider putting positive energy out into the world.
I don't read it as negativity just tongue in cheek skepticism, which can be a really great thing. See Schrodinger's Cat for example which people frequently cite and is in the same realm of "negativity" because it basically started as a taunt
100kg of CO2 is hardly positive energy.
I mean, there's a lot of negative things you can say about crypto.
It's easy AND fun.
NFTs are little more than a scam. Fight with full power
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Get rich quick schemes are often characterized by a lot of overly positive energy.
I cannot see anything that's closer to "positive energy" than making people laugh a bit :)
I don't think people really understand how the entire world is a complete fiction. The idea of ownership is made up. Your house deed isn't a statement of ownership. It's a promise that if ever someone ever comes with a gun to take it from you, a larger group of people with guns will take it from them and give it back to you. The whole world is a fractal fiction invented by other people. NFTs like any other symbol of value depend on the collective social fiction.
