I don't know much about this guy (Cummings), but I think it's different in that he has at least a position you may quietly agree with. The case above has no actual position; it's purely mercenary public manipulation.
The page showing their work (https://www.bermanco.com/television-video/) has a bit of a theme but nothing jumped out as outside of the mainstream, definitely not worthy of the devil.
