The way Americans treat their elders is just despicable. $1,388/mo. could hardly sustain a minimal living in a distant rural area in the middle of the country for a healthy young person. How could anyone think it’s OK to expect senior citizens to pull that off?
Who’s consensus? People offered the choice or people running housing policy? I didn’t see any complaints in the article about living in the tiny houses, only complaints that they were run out of them.
