The costs of cutting Russia off from SWIFT

As Dirty Harry would say "Go ahead. Make my day."

SWIFT used have the entire monopoly on inter-bank transfers. The start of the doom of SWIFT was when they agreed to cut off Iran. That spelled out to every nation on Earth that SWIFT were not neutral. That being the case, it was inevitable that another "SWIFT" would be formed. And that other "SWIFT" would eventually overshadow SWIFT, and kill it off.

China is the country with the greatest trade figures in the world. One of the new "SWIFT"s is the Chinese one. It will eventually crush SWIFT. Russia has its own, but it will most likely use the Chinese one in the final balance.
