I really wanted to love this article and the author's ideas but couldn't help feeling like it was a rediscovery of some LISP principles while keeping some contemporary development practices. Food for thought, for sure.

Isn’t that the point? We have lost our way a bit and forgotten some of the things learned in the past.
Now we need reminders, and how to apply forgotten thinking with our modern tools and libraries.

What, you’re not persuaded that the concept of immutability popped into existence in the late 2000s with the appearance of Clojure?
I am surprised the article didn’t mention Haskell at all. Clojure copied a lot of ideas from Haskell.
