1 MWh roughly costs 150$ for nuclear, about 50$ for wind/solar. You're telling me that the magical solution to all our energy problem using solar and wind energy only would be to overbuild THREE times solar and wind infrastructures, for a cost of 3*50=150$/MWh, which is essentially the same as if we were to use nuclear instead.

PLUS 3 hours battery scattered everywhere in the country (to be renewed every few years).

PLUS a full continental electricity grid (basically admitting that not every country can be sovereign of their own energy).
