M1: A design flaw slowed down Apple’s VNC

This has nothing to do with the M1 silicon nor is it a design flaw.
Particularly for a service that's going to be exposed, it does seem like a flaw that unauthenticated packets would slow it down so much for legitimate users.
It's not major though, and just adds to the huge pile of reasons why Apple's remote desktop sucks.
"M1" is clickbait though.
The sibling comment here, DoS targeting VNC solved by fail2ban, doesn’t substantiate the level of click-bait-ness in the headline and article opening.
