Desperation for Rust, Solidity as crypto coding languages rise

Solidity is an awful language, and Ethereum a crappy constrained system (its a block chain, so is to be expected to a degree), that I'm not surprised there is a shortage of people opting for not very special salaries.

Rust on Solana sounds promising, although I believe (could be wrong, no experience on Solana) it based on the EVM too?

Haskell on Cardano makes a lot of sense from a correctness aspect, except you now need to source people ...
