Somehow, I too see a lot of features that exists solely to increase the company's profit and only annoy customers. I always wonder why they think this is a good idea.

But then I remember I often implement those features as a developer. And sometimes, when I ask the marketing people or product manager, even they look to think it's a terrible idea. They are also forced to release something BS but can increase some KPI.
