+1. It is paramount to pivot the personal career capital/skills to align with the industry trends. I have seen the stagnation take root in my own career currently, working in the same company for 6 years, and it indeed becomes exponentially harder to crack the interviews. The rest of the industry is far ahead of the curve compared to my current employer.
