Show HN: UXWizz – Self-hosted analytics platform

Hi HN!

I have worked on UXWizz (formerly userTrack) for the past 9 years to provide a way for individuals and web development agencies to get a varied suite of web/product analytics tools while maintaining data privacy by focusing solely on the self-hosted aspect. I know that recently many "privacy-friendly" analytics showed up, but few of those are self-hosted (truly private) and even fewer offer more than basic stats.

My broader goal with the project for the next year is to create various auxiliary tools (setup, backup, monitoring) to make self-hosting even easier that it is and accessible for non-technical people. I hope to be able to provide those auxiliary self-hosting tools available to be used in other projects too.

The pricing/licensing of the product is also something a bit uncommon, I decided to sell it as a lifetime license but with paid updates (to ensure project sustainability). Before you ask: I did consider open-sourcing the project, but after thinking about this for years I decided that this pricing method is the best way to make UXWizz as useful as possible. If you want something open-source, I know Matomo is a similar alternative (I never used it, so I can't attest how good it is), but many of their features are still behind a pay wall or only available in their cloud version.
