I remember reading Craig Wright say that PGP keys were like car keys, and that not having them isn't sufficient enough to say that he's not Nakamoto. Fair enough, but why shouldn't I be suspicious when you don't have legitimate PGP keys, the wallet with the genesis block, or even passwords to known forums he frequented? It's like some random guy calling a locksmith to help him get into "his" mansion when he doesn't have any proof of identity and there's already a car parked in the driveway. The only evidence I've heard in his favor is anecdotal and often furnished by complete nobodies who are at best tangentially related to the DeFi scene as a whole.
I'm saddened by how long we've entertained this clown show. If we set the precedent for allowing people like him to gum up the legal system for so long, we'll never heard the end of pop-up heirs to bygone fortunes.
