Remix Goes Open Source

github.com

that'd be neat. there's a pr for adding the MIT license. but it's from someone who just cloned the repo this morning & signed the CLA just now. seems like wishful thinking atm. i cant find any other evidence this is happening.

i did see rumors there was going to be a big exciting release today. maybe this is happening? but i dont see it yet.

Definitely not wishful thinking. According to the creators on Twitter, it absolutely getting open-sourced today as MIT.

The "Remix v1" event starts at 1PM PST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsJaUjd1rUo

I'm excited to see some competition for Next.js, but I've been waiting for the Remix license change to get started.

Wow! They reinvented form POSTs and server redirects!!!111

You've got to be kidding me.
