Ask HN: What tool do you use for writing notes?

Simple, clean, gets the job done.

I often publish notes for others, using markdown syntax

I used to use StandardNotes and really liked it. Using Obsidian now as there are more features.

On my Android phone I just use Keep. For notes on the laptop, I've been trying out Obsidian and it's been working pretty well so far.

I’m using (and really enjoying) Bear.

Im a happy user of https://bear.app/

Obsidian, simple markdown files in a beautiful application.
