Finding the Right Advice

I find myself needing to remember this when I give advice. And the truth is, most advice isn't one-size-fits-all. Some people need to be told to get off their butts and work harder, some people need to sit down and rest a little more often. If I peddle one piece of advice to everyone, it's likely not very useful advice. The better bits of advice I've received are by those who know me well, know the field/topic/general area I need help in, and preferably both.
