Ask HN: How do you chose a VPS Host?

Trying to move away from GCE's VPSes and would like to migrate to a host that seems to honestly care about user privacy, net neutrality, etc.

HN, I am curious:

- How do you go about evaluating which VPS hosts to use?

- What are some potentially interesting hosts that don't grab a lot of attention? (i.e. besides DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner, and Upcloud)

- What are your thoughts about and/or experience with Greenhost.net?
