Microsoft has all the pieces they need to succeed as a big player in the metaverse space - Azure, Xbox, an OS (Windows), some of the best gaming IP in the world like Doom, Skyrim, and Halo, and finally Teams 3D+ Microsoft Mesh.

All they need to do is respond to the Quest 2 with their own standalone headset, and bring some of their best selling franchises into VR.
