Have they removed github's spying capabilities yet? Last time I looked at this, vscode was leaking private data that should not be collected and processed inadvertently.

Could just use Code - OSS that removes telemetry.

Not a fan of that name. Makes it difficult to find information about it.

Can you use all the regular vs code extensions with "Code" that you can use with "VS Code"?

For the record, I'm also annoyed at the naming of Visual Studio Code. Not to be confused with Visual Studio which is a completely different IDE.

Not a fan of the name either. Yes, you can use all of the normal extensions. It's the same thing without telemetry.
