One of the articles posted to HN recently covered this by talking about faking the accelerometer data to make it look like the phones were being randomly moved, so I guess the bot guys are already on top of this, from both sides of the war.

Could that also not be a showroom?

Watch them then rock the phone board on a back massage machine or something.

Should be trivial to get around tbh. You just need something to gently the devices.

Or hell, use developer tools to simulate it.

It's all an arms race, but the click farms have the advantage.

It could be a different kind of farm, like an automated testing farm.

If it's your automated testing farm then whitelist them. Else why are you letting other people's testing farm do weird stuff on your service?
