/shownew already existed, so I requested @dang to create /asknew. And he did!
/asknew, at least for now, will only show posts that are in the HN server's RAM. It won't go back beyond that.

I didn't know about /shownew before, and seems it's not listed at /lists either, could /lists maybe be updated to contain all the new pages @dang?

I humbly request:
Remove the "you're posting too fast" or at LEAST reduce the cool-down - its freaking WAY Too long.
Or like the comment karma before being allowed to downvote - change it. (whats the current downvote comment limit?)

The timeout setting prevents good threads at times and the impetus for continuing a thread quickly atrophies once you get that stupid message.
At lease removel it for accounts of certain ages or karma or Good'Ole'Boy Club?

You haven't done it in a while so I'll take the rate limit off for now, but for cthulhu's sake please don't revert to doing that again.
We have discussed it, my thing is that in valid threads with great comments that rate limiting stifles convo...
