The President is the leader of the executive branch, he does not have power to create laws or any other type of rules for citizens.

The executive branch is given authority to create rules by Congress.

Whether that allows him to do this specifically is a matter of legal debate, but there are similar powers granted by Congress related to things like immigration and transportation.

I bet you're right. My comment was an over simplification.

President Joe Biden will enforce a mandate that workers at U.S. companies with at least 100 employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly starting Jan. 4, spurring legal challenges from Republican governors who say Biden is overstepping his authority.

Why can't we have a mandate enforcing better ventilation? Workplace conditions are within the purview of OSHA and EPA, and that undoubtedly is the executive branch. Folks, this is an airborne virus, and while the vaccine keeps you out of hospital it does not keep you from spreading the disease.

Don't share any air with deer either.
