There were quite a few issues with amdgpu that would get fixed in certain kernel/video driver updates, and broken in other ones.

Can second. Ryzen 3XXX integrated graphics has caused me no amounts of headache, to the extent I'm wondering if Nvidia isn't a better bet after all.
