I just moved from AWS DynamoDB to MongoDB serverless for a project due to the 400KB document size limitation on DynamoDB (as opposed to around 16MB on Mongo). Feeling nervous after reading all the comments.
MongoDB is much less trash nowadays than it used to be. If by "serverless" you mean Atlas, you could do worse. Atlas is supposedly quite expensive though.
Don't feel nervous. There are a lot of MongoDB haters on Hackernews. If you have any issues we can help out at http://mongodb.com/community/forums.
Marketing on HN is not cool
I don’t understand how defending their work and giving a link to their help page is marketing. Cloudflare is constantly on HN front page, I never saw one person saying this.
