Google is great if people know what they want, but for discovery? Not so much.

Can’t wait to see the articles about the crippling downstream effect of this change on small companies.

Totally disagree. I start learning journeys all the time on Google (and Youtube).

Same! The other day I learned that the earth is flat, the frogs are gay, and that the covid vaccines are just Bill Gates' latest plan to microchip us.

Is there any evidence for these sorts of downstream effects from past privacy-friendly platform changes? I don't see evident ones that aren't confounded.
