I don't miss mIRC. I get it was the most popular IRC client on Windows but I never liked it much personally. In fact I disliked it enough to write my own Windows-based IRC client. Unfortunately by the time version 1.0 was ready to ship, IRC was in decline (on Windows at least) so I just kept it around as a personal client for about a year before I eventually switching to using Linux as my primary desktop and by then Irssi had been released and with Perl scripting support I saw no point in porting my client to Linux.
