Ask PG: How many people use the dotcom over the dotorg?

Just a curiosity - I use news.ycombinator.org rather than news.ycombinator.com which I sometimes see linked in comments.

Which one is more popular?

I'm not pg, and I don't have stats, but .com is certainly more popular

Googling:

inurl:news.ycombinator.com (5,650,000 links)

inurl:news.ycombinator.org (410,000 links)
