The First Thing We Do, Let’s Kill All the Leaf Blowers

Leaf blowers are great tools for a very tiny set of use cases. One of those is making dogs with floppy jowls go "blrpbbt".

Most of the place you see one in use they're just stupid, a vacuum would be far more sensible.

The message of "these leaves are a problem so I'm pushing them off somewhere they're no longer my problem" seems to be the greatest appeal for some users. The desire to stand out in your yard and say "fuck you" to your neighbors while drinking a 6 pack is one I can sympathize with, but there's quieter ways.

Without a doubt, these are the most annoying things in my neighborhood, and not only in the fall! Sad thing is electric versions solve all problems but landscapers refuse to use and lazy homeowners keep hiring them. Also, how can you call yourself a landscaper if you don’t even own a rake?
