That said, I wouldn't say this is him going completely off the rails. It seems like a natural evolution of the person he was from day one (when he joined congress in 1991).
I would interpret that as "he hasn't gone _suddenly_ of the rails, it's been a gradual natural evolution away from the rails. But here he is now, saying that COVID vaccines cause AIDS."

His Covid stance has been similar to trump’s and made the news a few times during the pandemic because of the similarity.
I presume this is considered newsworthy because it’s an indirect repudiation of trumpist stances on covid
Or - just perhaps - news about somewhere else on earth is newsworthy in its own right?
Note: This website "playcrazygame.com" doesn't seem reliable, their "team members" page doesn't even work and their "about us" says they focus on video games.

Indeed. I know nothing about that site, and random websites that pop up with political info should be regarded with a lot of scepticism, however it's not hard to find better sources for the story as well, with a swift google:
e.g.

And Bolsonaro has form, this was a previous time:

Will be probably universally seen as a criminal in the future, but the damage is done (and Youtube is just 'too little, too late').
