The financial markets pay very close attention to the Federal Reserve, not just to the meetings where interest rate decisions are made but to speeches which give a clue of Fed governors' thinking. I suggest allowing Fed governors, Congressmen, and Senators to trade but to have a system where trades are reported every evening. It would be good to know how they are investing their personal money based on what they are hearing.
