Tesla’s Elon Musk shares cool detail about Cybertruck’s side mirrors

I think this is an interesting "hack" on the rules. The law says you have to have side mirrors; it doesn't say that you can't make those mirrors easy to remove|replace.

I'm guessing there will be a camera "side mirror" installed from the factory and removing the actual side mirrors will not impede visibility.

With all these cars trying to move from mirrors to cameras. I'm curious how it'll work with traffic safety. I enjoy being able to make eye contact with someone through my mirrors. If they can see me, I can see them.

With cameras that is lost, sure the driver _may_ be able to see me. However I have no way to verify that.
