Deno was fortunate to have come into existence as Web APIs were maturing (unlike Node). Deno can build on all of the years of discussions and concensus that went into features like the Web Crypto APIs (which looks great!)
Which IMO is kind of the main point of it. It's a do-over, post the 10 most tumultuous years of JavaScript's evolution
