I didn't know MS followed into Apple's footsteps so closely... but lately I had to use the microsoft family thing and it was a nightmare... they told me to set my 8 yo kids birthday to something that would make him an adult to fix the issue when I called them... I was just trying to let him play multiplayer on Minecraft Java Edition on the PC. I wish that they would never have bought Minecraft. I'm not too worried about github because it seems easier to replace.
