I can answer that question - because of "[the Salzburg Mayor's] part in a wider scandal in which local officials lost 340 million euros of public money in risky stock and debt trades" [1].
I'm confused why the journalists would even ask Andreas that. Even if the prosecutor were anti-ÖVP, as alleged, that does not mean he would overlook every non-ÖVP crime. But I'm sure the journalists knew that.
