A lot of popular games (like Skyrim) seem to work better with a third-party community patched build of Proton. I wonder how Valve are going to handle this - will they direct people to manually install an unsupported version? Will they backport the community fixes and bundle them?
Thankfully the platform is open enough for this to be possible, and may actually encourage people to tinker with it.
